Customer Service: Is it dead?

Covid-19 has no doubt impacted businesses in lasting ways. While some businesses were shut down, a lot of businesses had to reduce capacity and operational limits, and shift operations to remote overnight. As a result, it is understandable that businesses had to prioritize available customer service resources to focus on critical tasks, and de-prioritize other non-essential services. What is not understandable is that close to two years in to the pandemic, when businesses should have had ample time to stabilize their operations, customer service still sucks. To the extent that I dread calling any contact center helplines, and now prefer emails (even when they are slower), to at least save myself the annoyance and frustration of dealing with customer service. The Second Battle of Bangalore

My  L interview  had gone horrible. No, wait, calling it horrible would mean being impossibly optimistic. To get to hear that how do you plan on clearing other interviews with such bad performance?  from an institute like L, which you should be easily cracking, can act as a real bugbear.  The next interview was for Bangalore. The institute well known for taking ghots like me, had already rejected me once. I was still shocked from the reality of it happening and the L experience acted as a go wild pass for all my hauntings. The fear of failure which had seized me just after my CAT results was back and I was feeling totally pathetic. Thanks to much needed motivation from my Didi & Jijaji and an awesome day out with one of my best pals, I finally got over the fear and decided to make a strategy for my next battle.
